Requesting an item

If an item you require is on loan or available at another Rodney library you can place a hold (request) on it. There is no charge for this service. Items on hold for you will be held for 8 days. Puzzles can not be requested.

You can also place a hold using our online service. Click here to go to 'My Info' and place a hold.

If you have given us your email address we will send you an email. Otherwise you will receive an automated telephone call. If you are not home or on the phone when you are called, a message will be left on your answer-phone or a letter will be mailed to you.

You will have 8 days to collect the item from when you are telephoned. A letter will include the final collection date.

Please phone the library holding the item for you if you no longer require it or would like to extend the collection date by a few days.
